Rosa Nutty

is a Dublin-based singer-songwriter. Her debut EP Bunny was released in August 2015 and was met with critical acclaim. The focus of her music is thought-provoking lyrics and dynamic vocal harmonies. Nutty’s lyrics seek to engage the listener by evoking a sense of shared human experience against the backdrop of a lulling electric guitar. The result is a warm, simple yet sophisticated style of music. In recent months Nutty has been honing her style further and plans to release her second EP in Autumn 2016. Since the start of this year she has played as part of Whelan’s Ones to Watch 2016, Abner Brown’s ‘Women in Music’ series, headlined her own show in the Bello Bar Dublin, supported artists such as Rozi Plain, Elephant and Paddy Hanna, appeared on Newstalk’s The Green Room and has many projects on the horizon, including her first show in Reykjavik, Iceland. Past highlights have included the Ruby Sessions and Subtierra Sounds in Shoreditch, London.
